Instagram: A Week of Dates

Happy Monday!  I apologize that I have been a little MIA from the blog world lately!  I was taking full advantage of my boy being off school for the past couple of weeks and spent all of my evenings with him last week!  I was definitely spoiled a little... especially with all of the cooking we did!  Here are just a few of the quick, yummy meals we cooked up...

This weekend it was 64 degrees... in January!  Crazy!!  So, we headed to the Jersey Shore for a day at the beach!  Loved just walking around the boardwalk and the beach... but the best part of the trip - Manco and Manco's pizza, of course!  Ahhh-mazing (just like everyone said)!

I'll be blogging the rest of the week with a mini color-crush series!  I did a little Sunday afternoon shopping this weekend and all of the super cute, super bright clothes and accessories inspired me!  :)  Check back daily!  xxoo.

Font Maker - Bloggers you are going to ♥ me!

I found the most amazing iPad app EVER! Let me introduce you to iFontMaker! I am almost positive that there is nothing cooler than turning your actual handwriting into a digital font that you can use on your blog or self-designed stationary... or well, anything!  That is exactly what iFontMaker enables you to do!  You simply draw each letter with your finger (or a stylus) until you have an entire alphabet made up of your own handwriting.  Then, the app converts it to a digital .ttf file so that you can import it into your FontBook on your computer!  Pretty magical!!! :)

AND...  if you don't have an iPad or you don't feel like going through the process of making your own fonts, you can browse and download hundreds of other people's fonts {here}!  Some of them are amazing... I kind of wonder where they find the time to be so fancy!! ;) ENJOY!

I can't believe it is already 2012!  I feel like I was just celebrating the beginning of 2011 yesterday!  The year started off perfectly for me yesterday.... woke up late, broke my new years resolution with waffles (and ice cream) and stayed in PJs with my man until 5pm!  Like I said.... perfect! :)  But... I took a little time to put this post together and got a chance to remember all of the fun times in 2011!  Some major highlights... Mexico with my girlfriends, St. Patty's / Bachelorette Party in Chicago, my Sister's Wedding, Warrior Dash, Traveling to London, Moving to Philly and Meeting Alejandro!  Here are some photos from a year I will always remember... xxoo!

I am really looking forward to 2012... already have some amazing events planned including: NYC for my birthday, Dominican Republic, NCAA basketball tournament (we have tickets), Boston, a couple weddings and more! :)  Looking forward to seeing your highlights or New Years photos - the link up will be open all week!

Friday's Fancies: {White Christmas / Spring Green}

It's the Friday before Christmas and I am home at my parent house in Kentucky!  It is not white outside in this part of the country... but I can dream that I will wake up on Christmas morning and there will be snow on the ground!  Too bad we aren't in Cleveland anymore, you could almost guarantee a white Christmas there, every year! But... even with the temps in the high 40's, I couldn't help but join in on {av}'s Friday's Fancies fun and create my own white Christmas inspiration... except when I was browsing for inspiration, it kind of turned into a white and green post... I mean a spring green post! :) Happy almost Christmas, I mean, Spring... well, I guess I really mean, happy almost spring clothes arriving in the stores, but it's still way too cold to wear them!!! xxoo.

Beach Memories

For Christmas, my mom and her siblings put together an amazing scrapbook of beach photos dating back to the 60's for my Grandma!  (Shoot... I really hope this isn't the day my Mama learns how to get on the internet to read my blog ;) Since I helped them beautify the book right before printing, I was able to get a sneak peak at all of the photos and letters they included in the book!  Here are a few of my favorites! :)

Holiday Cheer for a little Wednesday Pick-Me-Up!!

Happy Wednesday!  I have been looking forward to this day for weeks because I finally get to hang out with my boy after his last final of the semester - stress free!  We are celebrating Christmas together tonight before we both head home (in different directions) to see our families tomorrow!  I absolutely can't wait to give him his stocking... I think he might love it :)  His other gifts are wonderful too.. but there is just something about that stocking I am obsessed with!  Oh... and only 4 more days until Christmas - which means only 4 more days of crazy holiday posts in the blog world until we all change our focus and start blogging about SPRING!! ;) xxoo!
