Sweets via Instagram

I'm getting the iPhone5 this Friday (perfectly timed that my contract ends the exact day that the new phone is released), so last weekend I was trying to backup + organize my over 5,000 photos!  Let me tell you... that was one overhaul of a project! But, don't sweat, all of my photos are now safe and sound on my cloud! ;) Anyway, I thought I would share a few instragrams from lately. I think I've mentioned this before, but I sure do take a lot of photos of sweets, treats and other pretty eats! And, here are were (since they are in my belly) some of the extra yummy treats -

1. The most amazing banana split from Franklin Fountain! 2. Fancy cupcakes at work! 3. Not as fancy cupcakes, but I'll take my cupcakes any way! :) 4. So sweet of Alejandro's little sister to bake me cookies! Thanks Ariana!! :) 5. Yogurt parfaits at our all company meeting 6. Fruit loop muffins - yes, seriously! :)

Amazingness! Seriously, I'm not sure that you can mix two better things! I've been a little {J.Crew} obsessed this past week between the {awesome photos} from their Spring 2013 show, their new style guide, and this post on GP's blog! Rebecca Minkoff Camera Bag

Have you seen this amazing (super amazing) Rebecca Minkoff camera bag floating around the web? I saw it on {The Blonde Salad} as well as {eat.sleep.wear}'s instagram and instantly tried to find one for myself! Yes, I am positive that if I had actually found it, my bank account would have hated me... but who cares, it rocks! Officially added to my wishlist! :)

Color Trend: Burgundy

Like many of you, I can't get enough of the color burgundy! It is my new favorite color for fall and I am loving it in all shades and all materials (even though I think suede is my favorite)! I'm positive I need to add this {suede clutch} and these {cords} to my wardrobe asap!! Check out some inspiration on how to add this lovely little color into your daily wardrobe... Also, this color is a great update to the bright denim we saw all spring and summer! I love how it gives a pop, but is dark enough to be a neutral as well! Which look is your favorite?

#NYFW {Kate Spade}

I was so excited to be invited to a few shows and the Reward Style + ASOS party for Fashion Week, but last minute, I made the decision to stay home and save money for our upcoming travels. It was a tough decision, but I keep telling myself that there is always next year! Even though I wasn't in NYC this past weekend, I was still stalking the shows as they were happening and loved seeing some of my favorite bloggers' instagrams for the past 4 days! After browsing photos from some of my favorite designers, the spring 2013 show that I can't get out of my head (so far) is Kate Spade! Deboarah Lloyd has outdone herself (once again)!  Check out some of the details... I think the photos speak for themselves!

This is just a snippet of her lighthearted and bright color collection which was inspired by the kitchy designs of the 1950's! The silhouettes, the handbags, the hair and accessories are so playful and fun! Seriously, I think you need to check out the rest of the photos {here}!

Friday's Fancies: {Boathouse Row}

There is this super cute little place in Philly that I have been dying to go to since I moved here called {Boathouse Row}... and this weekend I am finally heading over there! While it is a great venue for rowing, we are going for an event and I don't see any physical activities involved! Maybe just some eating, drinking and definitely instagraming of the famous boat houses that line the river!

So... obviously I need a cute outfit for boathouse row! And below is my inspiration if it were a little bit cooler and I could finally bust out some of my new fall clothes. But... since it is supposed to be in the 80's, I guess I'll be in shorts and boat shoes (obviously)! Oh, and the Chandon has nothing to do with the outfit or boathouse row, I just see a little champagne in my weekend plans! No reason to celebrate... just because! :) Hope you have a great weekend! xx.

Inspiration Military

Loving the hints of military (specifically army green) that is popping up everywhere right now! I just bought this {jacket}, but also loving these {pants} and these {jeans}! Not quite sure if I can pull off full on camo print, but the girls who I have seen wear it... totally rock it! What do you think? Are you inspired by military yet? PS. Happy Fashion's Night Out! xx.

...Finally! I know I am a little late to the game, but I finally got my {tumblr} page all set up! Wait, rephrase - my friend {av} finally got my tumblr page all set up for me! :) Not sure why it was so difficult for me, but I could not figure out how to use it for the life of me... or make it pretty! Or... maybe I was just a little lazy! ;) But either way... I can't stop tumblin'!  Actually, my favorite quote from the other night was Alejandro saying, "you tumble more than I fantasize" - in regards to tumblr and fantasy football! :) Anyway, check out my page! Paris [on my mind]

Hi Friends! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend and ended your summer in style (hopefully at the beach... or at least in the Sun)! I had more of a relaxing weekend... finally time to unwind from the whirlwind of a summer I had. It felt a little strange to sit down at my computer to put together a new set of posts for this week... because I feel like it has been that long since I've been around! But... I am officially back to blogging and I couldn't be more excited! :) To kick off a new set of posts, I thought I would share some very exciting information - our PARIS trip is BOOKED! I am so excited and am officially counting down the days!!! And... the best part of it all - look at this insanely cute apartment we are renting for the week.... [ahhhhh....]

Hello! :)

Hi Friends!! Sorry I haven't written much lately!  Just got back from vacation on Sunday and I have been under the weather since. But... I am feeling better now and ready to get the week started - loving that it is going to be a short week though (4 day weekend - wohoo)! My vacation was absolutely wonderful... 8 days of relaxation by the beach and visiting with family and then a couple of days in Savannah for a wedding!  I was sad to come home.  Here is my absolute favorite snapshot from our trip...
