A Family Reunion at the Beach!

In two days I am heading to the beach in South Carolina for our family reunion! 22.5 of the most crazy, FABULOUS people will reunite in one beach house! We will be the clan sitting around in [22] beach chairs, soaking up sun, reading books, drinking beers, listening to music, watching the kiddos play and reminiscing about all of our summers growing up on the beach! My Aunt has even organized a “trip down memory lane” where I am sure we will walk to the lagoon and sit and tell our favorite beach stories!  My favorite story will definitely involve countless hours of floating (or wave jumping, depending on time of day) while gossiping with my cousin Terra who was just a year older than me! I am not sure what we talked about back then (I guess whatever 10 years old girls talk about), but those days were my favorite! Other favorite memories always include when I was at the beach with my mom, sister, cousins or mama! Oh, and definitely the first time I took my friends or a boyfriend to our place at the beach… It was always great to introduce them to what will forever be a tradition in the summers for my family!! 

I am only going for a few days since I just started my new job and decided that taking a week off just after starting was not the best decision… but still looking forward to every minute of it! Since it is low key family time, I am not packing much! All I need is a couple bathing suits, a couple dresses and my camera! Not even bringing a hair dryer or shoes (ok, well the flips I wear down there, but that is all!)  Can't wait to see my family and watch all of the little ones enjoy their cousins like I did!!! :)
