Rebecca Minkoff Camera Bag

Have you seen this amazing (super amazing) Rebecca Minkoff camera bag floating around the web? I saw it on {The Blonde Salad} as well as {eat.sleep.wear}'s instagram and instantly tried to find one for myself! Yes, I am positive that if I had actually found it, my bank account would have hated me... but who cares, it rocks! Officially added to my wishlist! :)

Oh, maybe {PS- I made this...} can give me her bag since she is only using it as a tool bag! ;) xx

Color Trend: Burgundy

Like many of you, I can't get enough of the color burgundy! It is my new favorite color for fall and I am loving it in all shades and all materials (even though I think suede is my favorite)! I'm positive I need to add this {suede clutch} and these {cords} to my wardrobe asap!! Check out some inspiration on how to add this lovely little color into your daily wardrobe... I am obsessed with the 3rd look:

Also, this color is a great update to the bright denim we saw all spring and summer! I love how it gives a pop, but is dark enough to be a neutral as well! Which look is your favorite?

Oh, and how fabulous are these {shoes}? Going on the wishlist!! :)

#NYFW {Kate Spade}

I was so excited to be invited to a few shows and the Reward Style + ASOS party for Fashion Week, but last minute, I made the decision to stay home and save money for our upcoming travels. It was a tough decision, but I keep telling myself that there is always next year! Even though I wasn't in NYC this past weekend, I was still stalking the shows as they were happening and loved seeing some of my favorite bloggers' instagrams for the past 4 days! After browsing photos from some of my favorite designers, the spring 2013 show that I can't get out of my head (so far) is Kate Spade! Deboarah Lloyd has outdone herself (once again)!  Check out some of the details... I think the photos speak for themselves!

This is just a snippet of her lighthearted and bright color collection which was inspired by the kitchy designs of the 1950's! The silhouettes, the handbags, the hair and accessories are so playful and fun! Seriously, I think you need to check out the rest of the photos {here}!

What has been your favorite show so far? I am extra excited for the J.Crew show on Tuesday, can't wait to see what Jenna has up her sleeve!! :)

Friday's Fancies: {Boathouse Row}

There is this super cute little place in Philly that I have been dying to go to since I moved here called {Boathouse Row}... and this weekend I am finally heading over there! While it is a great venue for rowing, we are going for an event and I don't see any physical activities involved! Maybe just some eating, drinking and definitely instagraming of the famous boat houses that line the river!

boathouse row in the evening
So... obviously I need a cute outfit for boathouse row! And below is my inspiration if it were a little bit cooler and I could finally bust out some of my new fall clothes. But... since it is supposed to be in the 80's, I guess I'll be in shorts and boat shoes (obviously)! Oh, and the Chandon has nothing to do with the outfit or boathouse row, I just see a little champagne in my weekend plans! No reason to celebrate... just because! :) Hope you have a great weekend! xx.

Inspiration Military

Loving the hints of military (specifically army green) that is popping up everywhere right now! I just bought this {jacket}, but also loving these {pants} and these {jeans}! Not quite sure if I can pull off full on camo print, but the girls who I have seen wear it... totally rock it! What do you think? Are you inspired by military yet? PS. Happy Fashion's Night Out! xx.

I'm on Tumblr!

...Finally! I know I am a little late to the game, but I finally got my {tumblr} page all set up! Wait, rephrase - my friend {av} finally got my tumblr page all set up for me! :) Not sure why it was so difficult for me, but I could not figure out how to use it for the life of me... or make it pretty! Or... maybe I was just a little lazy! ;) But either way... I can't stop tumblin'!  Actually, my favorite quote from the other night was Alejandro saying, "you tumble more than I fantasize" - in regards to tumblr and fantasy football! :) Anyway, check out my page! I am going to keep it fashion inspiration only, so if you are looking for anything else, feel free to catch up on my {pinterest} as well (I reorganized all of my boards recently)!  xx.

Psst... are you on tumblr? If so, what is your URL?

Paris [on my mind]

Hi Friends! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend and ended your summer in style (hopefully at the beach... or at least in the Sun)! I had more of a relaxing weekend... finally time to unwind from the whirlwind of a summer I had. It felt a little strange to sit down at my computer to put together a new set of posts for this week... because I feel like it has been that long since I've been around! But... I am officially back to blogging and I couldn't be more excited! :) To kick off a new set of posts, I thought I would share some very exciting information - our PARIS trip is BOOKED! I am so excited and am officially counting down the days!!! And... the best part of it all - look at this insanely cute apartment we are renting for the week.... [ahhhhh....]

{Paris Perfect Apartments}
So cute, right? But, the best part of the apartment isn't even pictured! See those large windows from the family room... well, right outside those windows is the most perfect Eiffel Tower view ever! OMGeeeeee! I.can't.wait!!! :) Since I have Paris on my mind, how perfect is this little bracelet...

Currently planning our eight days in the City of Light... taking all recommendations!! :) xx.

Hello! :)

Hi Friends!! Sorry I haven't written much lately!  Just got back from vacation on Sunday and I have been under the weather since. But... I am feeling better now and ready to get the week started - loving that it is going to be a short week though (4 day weekend - wohoo)! My vacation was absolutely wonderful... 8 days of relaxation by the beach and visiting with family and then a couple of days in Savannah for a wedding!  I was sad to come home.  Here is my absolute favorite snapshot from our trip...

A big thank you again to the girls who filled in for me while I was gone! Scroll down to check out their fabulous fall fashion favorites! I'll be back next week! xx.

Guest Post: {Long Distance Loving}

A very happy Friday to you! It's {av} from {long distance loving}, filling in for Ashley while she enjoys some well-deserved R&R :) Every week, I host a little link-up called Friday's Fancies which gives me free reign to create outfits without worrying about a budget. I'm thrilled to be filling in again for Ashley today with a road trip-themed #FridaysFancies!

I die for this gorgeous Myne Silk Minidress. Maybe it's the print, maybe it's the cut--whatever it is, I'd love to have it hanging in my closet for a sunny day on the road.

This House of Harlow 1960 Triangle Collar Necklace beautifully plays up the triangles in the minidress. It is also a super versatile piece to rock all fall long...

To give this outfit an extra dose of sass, these Oliver Peoples Polarized Cat's Eye Sunglasses were the no-brainer choice. Hello, happiness!

How fun are these Ash Western Suede Ankle Boots? As the weather cools down again, this pair would be perfect to take your sundresses right into autumn.

Ideal for holding all your road trip essentials, this Marc by Marc Jacobs Revolution Messenger Bag won't disappoint. With its lovely ivory color, it blends with any outfit in your weekend wardrobe.

Hop on over to {long distance loving} to see other road trip worthy options! If you'd like to join in the fun down the line, I'd be so happy to have you :) Click here to get all the info you need in your inbox!

Enjoy every ounce of your vacay, Ashley! Thanks again for having me :)

Guest Post: {TomorrowTODAY}

hi guys! i'm rita from tomorrow today and i'm thrilled to be sharing some of my current fall obsessions with a {little} dash of ash readers today! after a spring and summer of neon, crazy patterns, and distorted proportions, i'm finding myself craving tailored fits, neutral, moody colors, and honestly, comfort. fall is absolutely my favorite season... crisp air, the feeling of starting something new, beautiful colors, and layers. i live for layering!

i love how chic, natural, and real these girls look... unlike the majority of my pins, i feel as if i could maybe actually channel their style and rock some of these outfits this fall.

here's what i'll be looking out for as i begin my fall shopping:

1. distressed skinnies lately, i've been reaching for my c/e boyfriend jeans more ever, so i think it's time to update with skinnies that i can pair with booties. {similar}
2. a fabulous contrast sleeve jacket i typically do not go for khaki, but haven't been able to get this jacket out of my mind. it just feels effortless. {similar}
3. striped longsleeve tee let's be honest, striped tops are always in season. love the slight boat neck on this one. {similar}
4. comfortable booties i find a new pair of booties to love every week, but i think this may finally be the pair. black & brown, not horribly expensive for real leather, and a comfortable heel height. done and done. {very similar}
5. matte lipstick in the perfect plummy red. i'm not totally anti-color! {similar}

i'm confident that mixing some version of these 5 pieces in with my current wardrobe will lead to an effortless transition, leaving me with even more time to enjoy farmers market visits, long walks, and all the things i love about fall...

ashley is a big part of the reason i finally started blogging so it means a lot of me to be here helping her out today... she is the best! thanks again ashley, i hope you are enjoying your vacation!

Guest Post: {The Zhush}

Hi everyone! I'm Sue from The Zhush! Like most of you, I love contemplating what my fall wardrobe is going to look like, even if I'm never really ready for summer to end. While putting this post together, I couldn't help stop myself from thinking of that traditional wedding rhyme for brides..."something old, something new"...  Except, my five fall essentials are more like this:

1. Something borrowed (from the boys!):  Jackets and blazers in all shapes and sizes are a big trend for fall.  I usually feel like I look too corporate or stiff when I try to wear this look, but this blazer by Tibi looks so fashion forward with its' unique tailored shape and textures that I really want to give it a try.

2. Something old (relatively) My Rag & Bone Classic Newbury booties will no doubt be a major wardrobe staple for me again. I wore them all the time last year and felt super stylish, (they are crazy comfortable too!) A bit of an investment, but worth the splurge!

3. Also old: My jaguar earrings (from my shop, zhush.com) will also be playing a major role in my fall wardrobe.  All the magazines are showing feline inspired looks, and these just make me smile.

4. Something spotted: Leopard is still such a strong trend, and I couldn't be happier about that.  I have several leopard accessories in my wardrobe already, but I'm so drawn to this clutch for it's updated snow leopard vibe.

5. Something gold: By the time this post publishes I'll probably already own this Kate Spade gold polka dotted iPhone case.  It really reminds me of that sweet gold dotted vase that Kate Spade discontinued and that I really still covet!

So there you have it, my five fashion fall essentials!  What's on the top of your fall shopping list?
