Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I can't believe how amazing the weather was!! On Saturday, it was almost 80 degrees, so we headed to the Philadelphia Zoo (first zoo in America) to walk around! It was fun!!  And.. on Sunday I had a couple photo sessions (sneak peak coming soon).  Last night I was scrolling through my phone and found some photos of fun drinks - thought I would share a few with you today!  Cheers...

Friday's Fancies: {Festival Girl}

Happy Coachella Day!  Today is the first day of the sold out music festival in the California desert!  I've never been to Coachella, but I secretly really want to go - even though I feel like my time is kind of running out to spend crazy amounts of money to camp in the desert for a wild, out of control weekend.

This year I am extra inspired by festivals since there has been a lot of talk about them at work!  {Free People} has a {festival shop} online - complete with apparel, accessories and the cutest {tents} in the world!  Seriously, I think I might need to buy one of the tents... just in case I make it to a musical festival this year! ;)

Ok, I have a little secret - I may or may not have a little girl crush on {Lauren Conrad}!  And... her photoshoot in {Glamour Magazine} has me wishing for adorable summer clothes and that itty bitty body of hers! An 'Eastergram' Weekend! :)

I hope you all had a fabulous Easter / Passover!  We spent the weekend in Philly (finally) and enjoyed the fabulous spring weather and holiday!  I finally took a few new photos this weekend  (even with my cracked iPhone screen)...  here are a few of my favorites:

1. Alejandro's basket! He got a new pair of {sneakers}, cute nautical no-see socks (you can't see the navy pair with the anchors) and eggs filled with candy!  2. My basket from Al!! Isn't it adorable? And... a little Kate Spade pouch - that made me perk up more than the candy! ;)  3.  Pretty yellow tulips... inspired by Friday's {blog post} 4.  They are starting to bloom  and look just lovely - thanks baby! Oh, and that decorative piece behind the flowers... I am not quite sure what it is? I picked it up at the Anthropologie sample sale on Friday and it's starting to grow on me!! 5. A little evening snack for us on Saturday - our favorite!! 6. My sweet Kate Spade surprise!  Love these  adorable {gum drop earrings} so much!!

Friday's Fancies: {Flower Power}

I know this is a trend you have seen on my blog already - {last year}, {two months ago}, {last month} - but I just can't get over floral printed - everything!  Since it is officially Spring, florals have been popping up more and more in my outfits!  But... I am completely inspired by this photo right here....

I feel like I laugh out loud at least once a week at a completely relatable ecard floating around the web!  {Someecards} (especially the "your ecards" that users create themselves) are absolutely hilarious!! Here are some of my favorites...

Why I am excited...

When I first received my däv rainboots, I thought - "these are too trendy for me"!  Probably because I am used to my classic hunters.  However, I put them on and they were the most comfortable rainboots ever (lined with fleece and fit perfectly to my foot, not chunky like many other weatherproof boots I have tried)!! Also, they added a fun element to my outfit! :)

Instagram: April Showers

Why do the weekends go by so fast?? Last minute, Alejandro and I headed up to NYC on Saturday morning to find him a place to live this summer (success - super nice place in Greenwich Village), as well as check out the new {Free People} store at Rock Center (beautiful) and have lunch with {Kristin} (we showed up in matching outfits - can't go wrong with dark skinny jeans, a faded chambray shirt and gold flats).  It was a fun day in the city - except it was freeeeeezzzing!  The rain this weekend didn't help either!  Luckily, {däv} sent me a new pair of rainboots that I wore out and loved!! Didn't think I could pull them off since I'm not quite the "black/studded type" - but surprisingly, they worked! :) More about them tomorrow because däv will be hosting an April Showers giveaway on my blog and these fun, studded boots can also be yours!  Check back at midnight!!  Have a great week! xo.
