Our SF Trip ♥

Hi Friends! Happy Monday! ...and Happy October! :) I didn't get to say that last week since I took the week off from my blog. It was the first time I have ever gone a whole week without scheduling some kind of post, but it was a much needed break from the computer. Wish I could say that I spent my time away doing fun things, but last week was completely consumed by work, work and more work! I guess that is what I get for taking a few days off to head out west! Our trip to San Francisco and Napa was absolutely fabulous and I was sad we had to leave! We spent two days in SF and two days in Napa mostly eating and sipping on wine, but also attending a wedding with some good friends! 1. Of course In-N-Out was our first (and last) stop of our trip! 2. The best macaroni and cheese from The Grove 3. Amazing baked blueberry pancake from French Blue (the cutest restaurant in the world) 4. Margarita flatbread from Boon Fly Cafe 5. Yes, that is bacon in my bloody mary!! 6. Lattes in beer mugs?! Totally normal!

San Fran + Napa Bound... in one week!

In one week, Alejandro and I are heading out to the west coast to celebrate one of my dear friends as she marries her best friend! I am so excited to see friends that I have not seen in almost 4 years and to hang out in my old stomping grounds! Seriously, 4 years since I have been to San Francisco??! That is never allowed again! :) It's going to be a quick trip... so I am strategically planning out our 3 and a half days there so we can try to hit up all of my favorite places! I have already warned Alejandro that there might be a day or two that we have like 6 meals... just so we can fit everything in - he is totally on board!! ;) And while I am quite familiar with many wineries in Napa and Sonoma (seriously living less than an hour away from there was the best)... I have room in our itinerary for one more winery! So... I am taking recommendations! Which one is your favorite that we can't miss out on?  xxoo.

Vino Vino!

Over the past few years I have become quite a fan of wine!  My love affair started when I lived in San Francisco and would frequent Napa and Sonoma on the weekends!  Heaven!  I'm not a "wine-o" or "wine snob" or anything like that, but I definitely know a good glass of wine when I come across one!  Actually, my entire family loves wine - that is why it was so natural to host my sister's bridal shower at a local wine bar and restaurant!  {Vino Vino} made this day so incredibly special for her and I have to say it was one of the most fun parties I have been to in a long time!  Definitely not your typical bridal shower - but sometimes it is really fun to be different (and get tipsy with your family)!  What is your favorite wine??
