30 Day Shred

If you know me.... you are probably not even reading this blog post after seeing the title since I have seriously started a "diet" every single Monday since I can remember! Even though I have no credibility what so ever... this.is.for.real!  I am not going to say I'm fat, because I'm not... but I definitely need, ok really want to lose these awful 10 pounds I can not seem to ever get rid of! The funny thing is... it actually would be so easy for me to lose them if I learned to cook and didn't eat out every single meal!  Yup, that is right, every single meal [for the past 6 years]!  Oh, and for some reason I also think it is 100% appropriate to eat dessert after every single meal!  That's like 5 desserts a day! So below is my motivation...  I should some how make this a static post at the top of my blog to remind me daily to just spend a few minutes a day thinking about what I am eating!  They say... "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"!  We'll see about that!  I'll let you know my results in 30 days!  Oh, PS. Jillian Micheals is going to be my new bff for every day of August! 


But... really its the eating I need to change, not the working out!  Even though new abs and skinnier arms would definitely be a plus!  If anyone has any words of inspiration, I would love to hear :)  I really need to know quick, healthy snacks... because 3 cupcakes a day is going to catch up real fast! ;) xxoo!

I did the 30 Day Shred (not for 30 days, but just as an insert into my workout routine) and it is killer! You will see results. I stopped doing it tho, cuz it made me boobs shrink and I need all the help I can get in that area haha. Good luck!!

I do Jillian also! She's a pain in the butt (really, it hurts!) but it's really worked for me and I feel stronger and better about myself. Also, we eat in the majority of the time and it's not so bad! (although sometimes I wish we went out more). Good luck with your shread! You'll be great!

the toneitup youtube videos are AMAZINGly motivational and the workouts are fun and effective! good luck!
p.s. when i crave dessert i just have a square (or 3) of dark chocolate! it's actually good for you!

Totally feel you in this department, so sick of those stubborn 10 pounds but refuse to cut out dessert! Issue. I am starting 30 straight days of hot yoga today, fingers crossed I see some sort of change and become too vain to go back! Good luck!

The 100 Workout seems genius! I actually don't have a gym membership yet (fees for it in NYC are absurd...as with everything else) so it's great to have something I can do in my living room. Good luck! :)

I've tried the Shred, but I've never been able to stick with it for the full 30 days! The 100 workout looks like something I could do while watching TV :-)

good luck!! i've done the shred before and would say don't get bummed if you can't finish the workouts at first and if you can't work out every day. and do modifications if you need to (there were times i set down my weights). my 30 day shred was more like a 60 day shred to get up to level 3 and kicking butt at it. go at your own speed but push yourself and you'll DEF see results!

I have loads of Jillian's workouts and they are the best. the 30 day shreds are great because they are only 30 min but so effective. I will do it with you as I need to shape up for Summer which is only a few short weeks away here! xx

girl, YOU CAN DO IT! :]
so there is this book that has helped me so much. it's by Jackie Warner & it's called "this is why your fat & how to get skinny." {don't let the name scare you} but it is pretty amazing. it answers all your questions, gives you workouts that you can do at home, foods to eat, grocery list!

but good luck.
once you start a habit, it can stay with you! :]

I don't believe in diets. Changing your lifestyle and the way you're eating, yes, that definitely works. Plus excercise every day, but not the kind of exercise that seems like a must, because you want to lose weight, but something you really enjoy, like riding a bike, playing tennis or simply walking. :)

Oh my gosh you're so great for getting on top of this!! I'm totally a fan of the daily dessert x5 haha Glad to know I'm not the only one with the inability to say no! :)

I feel like my last 10#s to lose would come off muuch easier if I could just turn down even 1/2 of those desserts! But, really, who can leave 1/2 a slice of perfect, decadent chocolate cake on a plate??

Ha. I started reading this post and I wondered if I had written it. Talk about someone that talks about losing weight a lot? That's me. I'm following along. I recommitted to Weight Watchers points counting today. Blah. :)

i need some motivation BIG time, I'm in the exact same boat. This 10 lbs is so hard to shed. Especially since I can eat and drink what I want and not seem to tip the scales any more than where I weigh in now...I don't fit into some of my favorite things and I have to be poolside in Vegas for my bday in September. Let's motivate:) I'm on board!!!
