Why do the weekends go by so fast?? Last minute, Alejandro and I headed up to NYC on Saturday morning to find him a place to live this summer (success - super nice place in Greenwich Village), as well as check out the new {Free People} store at Rock Center (beautiful) and have lunch with {Kristin} (we showed up in matching outfits - can't go wrong with dark skinny jeans, a faded chambray shirt and gold flats). It was a fun day in the city - except it was freeeeeezzzing! The rain this weekend didn't help either! Luckily, {däv} sent me a new pair of rainboots that I wore out and loved!! Didn't think I could pull them off since I'm not quite the "black/studded type" - but surprisingly, they worked! :) More about them tomorrow because däv will be hosting an April Showers giveaway on my blog and these fun, studded boots can also be yours!
